# Tavrn pricing

Tavrn does not publish list prices. Each organization gets a quote based on its request volume, the record types it needs and how records should reach its systems. A demo is the fastest way to get one.

## What shapes a quote

- **Request volume** — How many patients and providers you request each month, and whether that volume is steady or comes in batches such as a mass-tort intake.
- **Record types** — Medical records, billing records, radiology images, accident reports and insurance coverage. Each record type is requested and checked separately.
- **Provider fees** — Some providers and records vendors charge to release a record. How those fees are paid and passed through is set out in the quote.
- **Delivery and integrations** — Records in the Tavrn platform, in a case-management system such as Litify, SmartAdvocate or Clio, or through the API and webhooks.
- **Add-ons** — Medical chronologies, record review and other work on the returned record, for teams that want it.
- **Security and contract terms** — A Business Associate Agreement, security review and any enterprise terms your organization requires.

## How a quote works

Three steps, with no commitment until you choose to start.

1. **Book a demo** — Tell us your volume, record types and the systems your team works in. We walk through a live request.
2. **Get a written quote** — A quote for your organization that sets out what is included, how provider fees are handled and how billing works.
3. **Start with a few requests** — Send requests on your own providers, see what comes back, then decide whether to move more of your work.

## Why doesn’t Tavrn publish a price list?

Requests differ by volume, record type and how records are delivered, so a single list price would be wrong for most teams. A quote is built for your organization instead.

## Are provider fees included?

Some providers and records vendors charge to release records. How those fees are handled for your account is set out in your quote.

## Is API access priced separately?

API access is part of the same quote. Test keys are self-serve: sign up at sandbox.tavrn.ai with a work email and test on synthetic data first.
